"The Goal of the Journey is to Unite Ourselves."

Guiding you toward greater self-discovery, compassion and growth, I believe each one of us has the ability to connect with our own wisdom to create a better life.

No matter where you find yourself in your life right now, you have the ability to overcome great challenges access your natural healing mechanisms and truly thrive. In recent years we’ve seen enormous breakthroughs by combining traditional western psychology with mindfulness for depression and anxiety, PTSD, and other life challenges – transforming how we previously thought about health and healing.

Even as a licensed clinical social worker with 30 years of experience treating clients, I don’t pretend to have all the answers. My goal is help you truly connect with yourself so you can find the answers you’ve been looking for.

Applying both traditional and holistic methods of healing, I’ll work with you to create an individualized plan that helps you find relief and to feel more vibrant and emotionally balanced.

“We all have the capacity to discard old ways of being and beliefs that no longer serve us.”

My Journey

Like you, my journey began with a quest to discover myself.

I have a great appreciation for human resiliency and what we’re all capable of doing in difficult times. One of my goals in treatment is to show you what it means to really thrive. Most of us think we need to simply get through the difficulties and challenges and forget that life is meant to be lived completely and joyfully.

With a solid base in traditional depth psychodynamic psychology, somatic, and non-traditional clinical skills, I apply diverse therapeutic strategies that focus on the client’s current experiences and relationships and focus on desires . Each circumstance and individual is unique. Carefully listening to understand your particular situation, lifestyle, emotional vulnerabilities and relationships, I’ll show you how to break through conditioned thinking patterns or behaviors that contribute to your problems and keep you back. I’ll also provide you with the structure and accountability that help you achieve what you haven’t been able to on your own.

“When your old ways of coping no longer work and you’re looking for something more aligned with who you are on the inside, that’s the moment real change can happen.”

Choosing a Therapist is An Important Decision

It must not only feels right, but gives you the confidence that relief is on the horizon.

My initial consultation begins with an exploration to see if we’re a fit. From there, we develop a clear plan so that you can effectuate real and lasting change in your life.  I look forward to working with you and helping you in your personal development and growth.
